Delivery Policy

The lead time for the delivery can range between 12 - 16 weeks. 

 

Abode The Collective provides a range of delivery options to our customers, including White-Glove and Standard services in Sydney and Melbourne Metro (within 50 kms of CBD). We also offer limited delivery services to our interstate customers upon request.

 

Our delivery team will contact you to arrange a suitable time for the delivery once the product has arrived to Sydney warehouse ready for fulfilment. Our dedicated delivery team is equipped to provide real-time notifications, keeping you informed every step of the way. From the moment your order is dispatched to its safe arrival at your doorstep, you'll receive timely updates, ensuring you're always in the loop.

 

Our third party delivery providers will only be in contact once the piece is ready for fulfilment. Prior to this should you have any questions regarding your delivery outside of the lead time provided, please contact our team.

White-Glove service

At Abode The Collective, we provide a white-glove service that goes beyond mere item delivery. Our approach encompasses a variety of services meticulously crafted to enhance the customer's journey and bring utmost convenience.

 

Our delivery team will bring the items directly into your home. This eliminates the need for you to handle transportation themselves. Our delivery team will unpack the items, freeing the customer from the task of unwrapping and unboxing the products.Our delivery team will also handle the assembly process for the items, ensuring that they are put together correctly and effectively. This saves you the effort of figuring out assembly instructions. After assembling the items, our delivery team will remove all packaging materials. This eliminates the need for the customer to dispose of packaging waste.

 

The white glove service offered by Abode The Collective is designed to provide a seamless and hassle-free experience for customers, ensuring that their purchased items are not only delivered but also set up and prepared for use.

Standard Delivery

The customer's presence is required to sign for the product at the designated address. 

Alternatively, with the customer's consent and approval, the product can be left at the address without a signature. However, it's important to note that customers who authorise an "authority to leave" request waive their transit insurance, and neither Abode The Collective nor the courier can be held responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to the product in such cases.

 

We cannot deliver to PO boxes.

Pickup Services

Pickup services may be available only for a select few items at our Sydney based warehouse. Should the relevant item be available for pickup, our delivery team will contact you to arrange a suitable time for you to pick up the product. Please ensure you have suitable transportation for the pickup of the product - be mindful of the size and weight of the product. 

 

When an item is collected from our warehouse, the customer must inspect it at the point of pick-up and acknowledge receipt in the collected condition. It is pertinent to mention that any items collected from our warehouse immediately void any warranties or guarantees that may have been applicable to the item. Abode The Collective assumes no responsibility for any damages or defects incurred after the item departed our warehouse. As we lack control over the handling of the item post-collection, we cannot be held liable for any loss or damage. By collecting an item from our warehouse, the recipient acknowledges and accepts these terms and conditions.

Delivery Address and Space Measurements

Customers bear the responsibility of ensuring the accuracy of their provided delivery address and verifying that the dimensions of their space align with the furniture's specifications. This crucial step ensures the proper fit of the furniture in the intended location. 

Furniture Fit and Secure Delivery

Abode The Collective cannot assume responsibility if the furniture does not fit as intended or cannot be safely delivered due to constraints at the delivery address. These constraints encompass factors like narrow hallways, doorways, or other physical limitations that impede safe delivery. This guideline is applicable across all our delivery services.

Third-Party Logistics

For the delivery process, Abode The Collective partners with third-party logistics firms. These providers assess the feasibility of safe delivery, considering access, space restrictions, and item fragility. To ensure a seamless delivery experience, customers should accurately measure their spaces, identify potential delivery obstacles, and provide accurate details.

Reasonable Access Requirement

A smooth and safe delivery process hinges on reasonable and unobstructed access to the designated delivery location. This requirement is fundamental for a successful delivery.

Failed Delivery Due to Unavailable Access or Absence

In scenarios where delivery fails due to access challenges or the customer's absence, additional charges may apply for subsequent delivery attempts. These charges offset the added logistics and resources needed for the subsequent attempt.

Additional Fee for Failed Delivery

Should a delivery fail due to access issues or the customer's absence, an additional fee will be levied for subsequent delivery attempts. This fee accounts for the supplementary resources required for the reattempt.

No Refunds for Unsuccessful Delivery

In cases of unsuccessful delivery due to access constraints or the customer's absence, Abode The Collective does not offer refunds. This underscores the necessity of ensuring accessible entry and having someone present during the agreed-upon delivery window.

Vulnerability of Natural Stone

Our products are exclusively crafted from 100% natural stone, which makes them vulnerable to various risks during transportation and delivery.

Risk of Cracking during Transportation

Transportation poses a risk of cracking or damage to delicate marble items due to the inherent fragility of natural stone.

Refund Policy for Damaged

In instances where the items sustain damage during transportation or delivery, including cracking, refunds will not be issued. Instead, we provide an alternative solution. View Defects & Warrant sections for further details.

Preorders

Please note all preorder dates are an estimate and may be subject to early or late arrival. Any date changes will be communicated via email to the email address provided on the order. In the event that your order arrives early please ensure you can facilitate early acceptance.

 

This policy reflects the unique characteristics of natural stone products and the potential risks associated with their transportation. Customers should take care to inspect their delivered items and communicate any damages to the company promptly. 

 

Abode The Collective does not take responsibility for any damages once the table is delivered.
